Al Reem Island is the densest residential market in Abu Dhabi and the one with the deepest resale record. Shams Abu Dhabi, Marina Square and City of Lights sit minutes from Al Maryah Island and the Galleria.
Makers District is IMKAN 18 hectare masterplan on Al Reem Island, facing the Saadiyat Cultural District across the water, so residents look at the Zayed National Museum, the Louvre Abu Dhabi and the Guggenheim site.
It was planned as a mixed community for people who work where they live: apartments above ground floor retail, offices, co working space and artisan studios, with a pedestrianised central plaza designed by BIG.
Pixel sits inside it, seven mid rise towers by MVRDV, and so does Makers Beach, over 300 metres of beachfront. A waterfront boutique hotel and further residential phases follow. Handovers began in 2021.
